There is something so special about a wedding hosted at a private estate. The familiarity of land, the open landscape, and the ability to completely transform a space into something uniquely personal creates such an unforgettable atmosphere, and that is exactly what Matthew and Alexandria accomplished on May 2, 2026.
From the beginning, their vision was centered around creating a romantic, elevated celebration that still felt warm, welcoming, and full of life. Set at a beautiful private estate in Washington, Georgia, every detail of the day reflected the two of them perfectly.
Leading up to the wedding, the forecast predicted rain all day long. Like many couples planning an outdoor celebration, there were many moving pieces and backup plans being considered. But somehow, just in time for the ceremony, the clouds cleared and the sun came out in the most beautiful way. It truly felt meant to be.
Because the weather shifted in their favor, Matthew and Alexandrea were able to get married exactly where they had envisioned: in front of the home on the porch overlooking the property. It created the most intimate and picturesque setting for their ceremony.
Their day was filled with soft pink and peach tones that complemented the spring setting beautifully. Every element felt romantic, timeless, and intentionally designed to enhance the natural beauty of the estate.
Most importantly, they wanted the day to feel joyful. They wanted guests to feel celebrated, connected, and fully immersed in the experience from beginning to end, and that is exactly what happened.

The design for Matthew and Alexandria’s wedding embraced a refined garden-party aesthetic with a soft and romantic color palette of pinks and peaches woven throughout every space.
One of the most stunning elements of the day was the large sailcloth tent installed on the property. The tent completely transformed the estate grounds while still allowing guests to feel connected to the beauty of the outdoor setting. The natural light pouring through the sailcloth created an airy and elegant atmosphere throughout the evening.
The combination of the sailcloth structure, spring florals, and the estate backdrop created a design that felt elevated yet effortless. Every detail worked together to enhance the natural charm of the property without taking away from it.
As the sun set and guests moved into the reception, the tent became the heart of the celebration, glowing with candlelight, music, and nonstop energy.

Matthew and Alexandria’s ceremony felt incredibly emotional and intimate.
After watching the forecast all week and preparing for rain, having the opportunity to hold the ceremony outside in front of the estate felt even more meaningful. The sunshine that arrived just in time made the entire moment feel almost surreal.
Surrounded by their closest family and friends, they exchanged vows on the porch of the home with the most beautiful spring backdrop behind them. It was simple, elegant, and full of emotion, the kind of ceremony guests will remember forever.

Once guests entered the sailcloth tent, the energy of the evening completely came alive.
The band brought an incredible level of energy to the reception from the very beginning. The dance floor stayed packed all night long, and guests were fully invested in celebrating Matthew and Alexandria from start to finish.
Between the live music, the warm spring evening, and the glow of the tented reception, the entire atmosphere felt magical. It was the perfect balance of elegance and fun; exactly the kind of celebration the couple had envisioned.
Every part of the evening felt joyful, effortless, and full of love.

From beginning to end, the entire day felt like a celebration of joy, love, and the beauty of trusting the process.
